Vessel-on-chip models for thrombosis

Personal Summary

As a PhD student in the Schurgers lab since 2022, I use vessel-on-chip technologies to study vascular biology and thrombosis.

What is your research about?

My research focuses on the interaction between blood components and vascular wall cells in processes such as vessel remodeling and thrombosis. I am particularly interested in endothelial cells and vascular smooth muscle cells, both from primary sources and iPSC-derived models.
