My responsibilities involve enhancing 3D models (organoids) to more accurately replicate in vitro conditions. This approach aims to provide deeper insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying brain and cardiovascular diseases.

What is your research about?

My research focuses on Rett syndrome, a rare neurodevelopmental disorder. Using brain organoids as a more physiologically relevant model, I aim to better understand the underlying pathological mechanisms. In addition, I work on further advancing brain and cardiac organoids by integrating them with other components including a functional vascular system.
